In July 1969, Astronaut Neil Armstrong fulfilled his history-making dream of becoming the first person to set foot on the Moon. He took with him a small piece of fabric from the wing of the Wright Brothers first airplane, as a token and homage to those who had gone before him. Just like those earlier dreamers who first flew, Neil Armstrong envisioned going beyond what had been done before - of escaping the limits that had bound humanity for all its existence. And he succeeded, just as they had done! He lived his dream: like we're all capable of!
Dreams are the road-map of our future. They are necessary for our growth, advancement and survival – they give us motivation, hope, inspiration and opportunity for change. Dreams help us to surmount challenges, face our fears and tap into greater courage – empowering us to achieve our true potential! Although we can't all be pilots or astronauts (still trying!) we can potentially accomplish whatever we set our hearts and minds to! It all begins with an idea, feeling, thought or wish that sparks our hearts! Without our our visions, nothing can manifest.
November is the month to reconnect with our inner world in order to further our outer goals. With Jupiter moving into Sagittarius we're urged to break the bounds of our own earthly confines, push ahead with our aspirations and grow our goals with enthusiasm! As Mercury goes Retrograde, also in Sagittarius, we're encouraged to rethink, revisit and rework our thoughts, dreams and ideas for a more expansive future. A New Moon in Scorpio prompts us to pursue our passions and purpose, while a Gemini Full Moon helps clarify our goals, dismissing what doesn't work in favour of what does! Lastly, Mars moving into Pisces leads the way in helping us to “dream our lives” in a new direction, expressing greater sensitivity, creativity and understanding – of ourselves and others. This can be a time for uncovering information, bringing new realizations and highlighting changes - especially in areas of funds, possessions, business dealings, material security and the things we value. We can anticipate some reawakenings, shakeups and shifts in the way we handle our environment, Mother Earth, artisty, affection and our relationship with others. During this time we're offered the opportunity to make personal and global breakthroughs, helping us develop ways to overcome obstacles and welcome ways to better our world. Uranus will be in Taurus until 2025!
Neptune is Retrograde in Pisces: The planet ruling dreams and creativity will continue it's Retrograde motion, in its ruling sign of Pisces, until 25 November when it goes Direct. During the Retrograde time, we are encouraged to honor more of our spiritual awareness, artistic inspiration and intuitive insight! Greater appreciation for the beauty around us as well as within us is also emphasized. As Neptune goes “backwards” we are urged to feel and express greater “we-are-all-one” compassion along with further sympathetic understanding and involvement with humanitarian endeavours. Readdressing ways to embrace further care and empathy of others, along with universal understanding is highlighted. As Neptune goes Direct in Pisces on 25 November we will have more forward motion in creating, visualizing and manifesting our dreams. Greater faith, spirituality and greater use of our imaginations are the gifts of this Direct motion! Neptune will be in Pisces until 31 March 2025.
Pluto in Capricorn: As the planet of Transformation continues its motion through the sober sign of Capricorn, we get serious about making positive changes to ourselves and our world. The overall theme of this cycle is uncovering the misuse of power and authority to enable change for the better. It represents a major time of rediscovery, review and reconsideration that brings transformation to our society, government, world order and Mother Earth. It also pushes us to think about the changes we want to make to our belief structures and our power as individuals and as citizens of the world. This pairing of Pluto in Capricorn will continue until 24 March 2023.
Chiron is in Aries: As the “wounded healer” moves through the sign of Aries, we have greater opportunity to overcome personal obstacles, revive belief in ourselves and our abilities and feel a greater sense of self worth. As we surmount challenges, we find greater empowerment, advancing our individual confidence while manifesting more of our goals. Chiron will be in Aries until 2027!
