El gobierno de Indonesia anunció este martes que el número de muertos confirmados tras el devastador terremoto y tsunami que azotó la isla de Célebes el viernes superó los 1.300.
Anteriormente, la cifra se había mantenido en más de 1.200.
El terremoto de 7,5 de magnitud se produjo en la costa de la isla central de Célebes y dio lugar a un tsunami que golpeó la ciudad costera de Palu con olas de hasta 6 metros.
