The date of the Ableton lecture I will be co-hosting is closing in, and the spots are filling up. If you are interested in learning about producing music in Ableton you should consider joining us!
People interested in producing psychedelic music like psychill & psytrance will probably get the most out of this, as both of these genres will have a designated workflow section at the lecture. That being said a lot of the knowledge is transferable regardless of what genre you want to produce.
My main focus of the evening is psytrance oriented, especially with me hosting the part of the night designated for "psytrance workflow". Here I will try to lay out the basics of a forest psytrance track and mesh out a few loops with some of the most common elements heard in forest psytrance.
The location for the lecture will be House of Nerds in Oslo. They have a awesome venue with a PA-system with subwoofers. We will have a projector and microphones set up so you will be able to hear us properly and the crowd can ask us questions.
House of Nerds offer a good selection of food and drinks for sale, both beer and non alcohol choices 😉

It has been in my plans for quite some time to write up a few articles on at least psytrance and psychill. I plan to write about their history, what defines the genres and where I see them heading in the near & more distant future.
@xtetrahedron and all interested in psytrance and all its facets keep an eye on our blog and magazine, there will be a lot of psytrance. We will be showcasing artists like Juno Reactor, Etnica, Braincell, Johnny Blue, AstroPilot, Avalon, Androcell, and many more.

Yes, we will be posting a selective number of features here on Steemit as well. As said previously, we will be covering most of the psytrance culture, so, forest psytrance will be included as well—artists ranging from the groovy and powerful forest like Arjuna to Scandinavian forest of Derango.
