Viking Market

Today I went to the Viking market to have a look at what they had to offer. They had everything you can imagine, clothes, food, swords, knifes and so on. They also showed us how to fight with swords and play games.
And for those of you that think vikings had helmets with horns, you are wrong, they never did! I also got to taste pot brewed beer and mjød.

Here are some pictures from this market. Enjoy :)

I love ancient history, especially when it comes to Scandinavia. Thank you for this post, I can't wait till I go to Norway myself ^^

no problem, dude! you are always welcome here, but be careful vikings may lurk around any corner, no I'm just kidding, we are peaceful people now

I take my swiss army knife as defense, what about that?

haha, you have no chance against a crazy viking. you better put that toyknife of yours away and bring some beer as peace offering, that's your best chance of survival

You shall have my ale and let it be peace

We shall feast and we shall drink! =D Skål! (cheers)

My ancestors are vikings ans cletd to europenaa i like learning about their way of life thank you for sharing. The shields are a targe meaning tsrget i sparred wirh some celts ans thats what they called it

oh cool! always fun to meet a fellow viking! you should come visit this viking country some day, you can even go live with viking for a weekend, learn to make clothes and to fight and of course drinking mjød. thanks for the resteem :)

Nice photos :) Looks like a cool event.

It sure was! it was a small event, but I still spent over 4 hours there. wish I could have moved in with them

Wow, 4 hours :D I also like going to different fair/market/events. I'm very happy this time of year, flea market every weekend!

yeah 4 hours, my camera ran out of power after taking so many pictures. I would love to go to flea markets, but I don't know where to find them, it seems again like I have to come up there. If I only had a car that didn't leak break fluids I would for sure come right away

I met @marehalm and whole lot of other people I know, thats why I spent 4 hours there

😄 to bad it's no flea market, i bought 22 books today ;)

22 books?! oh wow, getting ready for winter are we? :p

Good job ! :-D

thank you
