Does the lens make flares?

I've read thousands of lens reviews over the years and one of the returning questions is always; how good does the test subject control\suppress flaring. In most situations it's good to know that your lens don't make huge colorful spots across your image. My Rayxar on the other hand can't help it, it's flares all over sometimes. And occasionally the flares get to play the first violin.

Nydelig @Erlendgroseth.
Gleder meg til å låne den til helgen :)

Jepp, gleder meg til å se hva du får ut av den. :)

That is a really cool photo man. The longer I look at it, there more I see in the image.

Thanks, that's the beauty of lens flares. They appear to be organic in som way...

I first thought of Sonoluminescence ✨ such a wonderful capture!

Hi @Carrieslens,
Good suggestion, I'd never thought of that. It completely changes my perception of the image.
Cheers, Erlend.

Cheers Erlend 🤙🏼 Your photography shifts a lot of perspectives ~ Thanks 😊

Fabulous one....It looks like a water bubble...
Brilliant art and photography @erlendgroseth

Yes, but i can assure you. It's shot on dry land. Actually, it's a little flower in there somewhere.
Cheers.

yes, its lovely. Photo magic. Looks like a painting.

Thanks,
All photography is painting with light. Some lenses is like thin pencils, others is like throwing a bucket of paint at something.
Cheers.

oh, I love that way of looking at it. Thanks to you.

Spennende bilde. Flotte farger:-)

That’s a amazing picture just like a piece of art!

This is exceptional! I am waiting to see some fairies flying behind those colorful flares!

Hehe, yes... It's a nice fairies environment isn't it?

If I was a fairy I would like to live in such environment! :-)
