Okshornman

.Okshornan "Djevelens tanngard" - "Taurus" or "Devil's Teeth" - this is the name given to one of the most beautiful mountains in Senja, lying at the very end of this beautiful island. You will get there by car via Finnsnes, where there is a bridge to Senja island. The viewpoint at Tungeneset is just over 65 km from the bridge. In addition, Okshornan is described as a majestic mountain range. It is located at 69 degrees north with the open sea in the background, which gives the mountain range a magical picture of dancing with the northern lights, in a summer bath in the midnight sun or in a winter climate. The island of Senja itself is often referred to as "Norway in miniature". There are various types of terrain here, from high mountains jutting straight out of the sea to sandy beaches. Senja is an exciting climbing spot with views of unparalleled beauty. This unique combination of white beaches and steep mountains is absolutely magical. Personally, I have visited this unique island several times in summer and winter, hunting for the aurora and admired the beauty of the white nights, where the sun does not hide behind the horizon. I often return to the archive of photos that I took there, using my imagination to reflect the emotions that accompanied me when I stood on the rocky shore where the waves of the northern sea crashed.
