Just found steemit

I have been involved in the anarchist/ libertarian community for a while now and one of my internet friends recommended that I go check out this web sight. I am new to online forms and blogs so any tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to figuring out this cool new site and learning the secretes that this web sight has to offer and becoming part of what I hope is a new great way for content creators to share their ideas and creations.

Welcome! Something that really helped me write articles was this page: https://github.com/adam-p/markdown-here/wiki/Markdown-Cheatsheet
My advice would be to try and include at least one image, break your article up into sections with headers, and read your post over a thousand times before you submit it. Yes, you can edit, but it's best if you keep editing to a minimum. Also, try not to write about topics that are popular. Steem needs more diversity!
