Nokia 8 is the first flagship phone after Nokia's return to life, will it meet our expectations?

by @Abderrachidhafsi

After weeks of speculation, months of anticipation and years of hope, Nokia's name goes back to the smart phone market. The Finnish company HMD, which has a mobile phone license on behalf of Nokia, announced the latest Android phone, its flagship Nokia 8 phone.

The Nokia 8 specification is often very powerful for what you can expect from a leading phone this year, but it has reversed the increasing trend of competitors now by lowering the top and bottom edges, relying on a screen covering most of the front end, and focusing on great camera and camera features.

  • Nokia 8 specifications
Full metal structure with high aluminum materials with dust resistance and IP54 water spray.
A 5.3-inch, 1440 x 2560 pixel (QHD) IPS LCD screen with a pixel density of 554 pixels / inch and equipped with a Gorilla Glass 5 protection layer.
Dimensions: 151.5X73.7 m and a thickness of 7.9 m and weighing 160 grams.

4 or 6 GB RAM and 64 or 128 GB of internal storage that can be extended via the Micro SD port.
Two rear cameras with 13 megapixels each with Carl Zeiss lens with f / 2.0 lens, PDAF automatic focus, IR Range Finder and Dual-Tone LED lighting.
13 megapixel camera with f / 2.0 lens and PDAF automatic focus.
A fingerprint sensor on the front of the phone, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5 mm headphone port.
Supports connectivity to: LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC.
3090 mA non-removable battery, supports quick charging with Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
Android OS 7.1.1 with a reliance on the raw interface.
  • Nokia 8 Design

The Nokia 8 comes with a thin metal structure of 7.9 mm in the thickest parts, 5mm on the edges, and because of the design of its structure as a single metal block, the Nokia 8 is fit for a leading phone and looks very stylish.

The top edge of the phone has a 3.5mm headphone port, while the bottom contains a USB Type-C, and that's where the headset is. Under the screen there are navigation buttons and fingerprint sensor in its traditional position in the center to help you unlock the phone quickly and securely.

There are four different color options available for the Nokia 8, two of which come with a glossy effect on the back in blue or brass, and there is also another version with a lighter effect, available in blue or silver.

  • Specifications of the camera

There is a dual camera in the Nokia 8, the first of the company, and should give us much better results than the middle class phones we saw earlier this year, especially after using the lenses of carl zeiss with a long history in photography.

The 13-megapixel RGB sensor is used together with a 13-megapixel monochrome sensor, combining images taken from each to allow for low-light photography. The monochromatic sensor needs to capture more details since it is only in black and white and should be combined In full color image.

The front camera also has a 13-megapixel sensor, which should allow you to take stunning Sylvie photos, and there's a camera mode that allows you to shoot both front and rear cameras at the same time through "bothie" mode.

The Nokia 8 includes another feature, thanks to the integration of Ozo Audio, it means that the 360-degree audio will be captured while filming or broadcast video footage, if you listen to a live broadcast on Facebook with headphones, you will be able to hear the sound of 360.

  • Use of power and battery

The battery on the Nokia 8 does not look promising with only 3090 mA capacity, which may struggle to stay for a few hours due to its high specification and high resolution screen.

However, the battery pack is included with the Quick Charge 3.0 Quick Charger 3.0 provided by Qualcomm.

  • Technical specifications and operating system

You will have 64 or 128 GB of internal memory, as well as support for Micro SD cards up to 256 GB, and the phone is running Android 7.1.1 and depends on the interface of Android Raw, which means amazing performance and unrivaled.
