Taiwan has been on my list of place to visit for a long time, back in my Groupon days. But due to a thick layer of skepticism, I always held back the decision.

After my breakthrough Hanoi trip, I felt a bit more assured to go further north up away from the equator. My thin skin wouldn't survive any single degree weather, let alone a minus degree, like Seoul or Tokyo.
