A lot of happenings in our today's world got me thinking of how much importance we place on values, culture, language and ethics in each region, tribe and country.
As it is a custom today to shy away from things that are helpful to us, even in the simplest way. I bring to you another translation in Yorùbá that is mostly not given enough of importance because of how English has overtaken Indigenous languages.
.
I will list some of the well-sought professions in English language and translate them to Yorùbá language.
The translations are written using the correct tonal marks usage in every Yorùbá words.
Number | Title | Yoruba Translation/meaning |

1 | Farmer | Àgbè |
2 | Medical Doctor | Dókítà Onímọ̀ìṣègùn |
3 | Lawyer | Agbẹjọ́rò |
4 | Pharmacist | Apoògùn |
5 | Engineer | Onímọ̀ ẹ̀rọ |
6 | Teacher | Olùkọ́ |
7 | Miner | Awakùsà |
