I feel your pain, but I fear that this is something so deeply embedded our society that it won't change for a very long time.

It has gotten out of hand and in my opinion, common sense has left the building. Let's agree to not violate women, physically and mentally, and let's agree to not be easily offended as well. Recently the #MeToo posts have started both a witch hunt on men, as well as making men doubt whether or not saying something as basic as 'hello' or holding a door would be considered offensive.
