The federal ministry of health warns that smokers are liable to die young

Are smokers truly liable to die young because I know so many Nigerians that do not smoke cigarettes or marijuana, they smoke Garri and groundnut?

Yes, Garri!!! even most of you will not know what garri mean. Nigerians can smoke (eat) garri raw, cooked, or soaked.

Some Nigerians even after eating a proper meal do not feel satisfied until they have taken care. They can smoke it in any weather condition and at any time.

Considering the fact that Garri contains cyanide which is very dangerous to human health and humans have been warned to take it with a supplement that contains a good source of protein. But, we cannot blame those who take it without the good protein sources, because they cannot afford it. After full day job they earn 500 Naira, so they just buy 100 Naira Garri, 20 Naira sugar, 20Naira groundnut and they are satisfied for the day until the next morning.

We agree the government can not feed us individually but what about the budgets they write, what happens to the money they want to use to build schools and hospitals, where is the money for construction of roads and so on.

Most times I weep for Nigeria but I know it would be good, I know things will be fine. I am certain that one day, Nigeria will be free from corruption and theft.

Oh what a pity

when a politician will steal billions of dollars and will be applauded while a commoner will steal #5 worth of Maggi and he will be tortured unendingly. What a pity

People embezzle our hard earn money and use it to develop other countries reserve because they cannot keep it in their country.

Presently I smoke gari with groundnut but I know I'm not liable to die young because I'll survive it and it will be a thing of the past.
