Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode, Former Minister of Aviation, has threatened to champion the break of Nigeria if the country is not restructured. “It is a call for separation and call to exercise the right to leave the federation. We have been telling people to give Nigeria a chance but without restructuring, this country will break. That is why those that really want the unity of this country will want this. Let’s have a true federation and let’s treat every Nigerian equally," he said.

“If we don’t have restructuring, we will break off and I will advocate the breaking off of this country. My fear is that if we do not take the restructuring thing seriously and do something about it, it may be the end of this country," he upheld.

Mr. Fani-Kayode beckoned on Yorubas to demand the restructuring as a form of reorganizing the country from the present country, claiming the Yoruba tribe deserved more than what they are getting from the country, especially the present administration.

📰 🐚Shell Withholds 100,000 Documents📑 Critical to Ogoni 9 Case

The oil giant, Shell, is refusing to hand over more than 100,000 internal documents on the arrest, detention, and execution of nine Ogoni men in the 1990s, Amnesty International has said. The execution of the “Ogoni Nine”, including the renowned writer Ken Saro-Wiwa, by the government in 1995 sparked global outrage.

In a statement on Friday, a Senior Director of Research at Amnesty International, Audrey Gaughran, said Shell has gone to extraordinary lengths to withhold information vital to the case. He alleged that the oil giant may have “skeletons in its cupboard” and should not be allowed to hide behind expensive legal teams to avoid facing justice

“Shell has gone to extraordinary lengths to withhold this critical information. Because the documents in question are so old, it is highly unlikely that there are legitimate business reasons for keeping them confidential. So what does Shell have to hide? Having reviewed the available evidence, Amnesty International believes that Shell was complicit in putting the Ogoni Nine at the mercy of a government it knew to be serial human rights abuser," he said

Sort:

Femi Fani Kayode is a clown, and should be ignored, as he is a self serving moron, who doesn't care about the Yoruba nation, but concerned only of his exclusion from the present administration. His call for breakaway is treasonable
