Hi everyone,

I am not a politician, but I have to talk about politics for the betterment of our nation.

This might be too early as election is coming up by 2019.

Sorry if this does not apply to your country, but I believe their is still one or two things to learn from it.

I want open our eyes to the state we find ourselves for committing power into the hand of minority called politicians.

The state of politics in Nigeria is more or less that of a dictatorship where the masses don't longer have a say.

Some group of people somewhere decide who is to come into the political offices.

They decide our future right in our present, yet it seems we have nothing to do than to shout and keep shouting until we become too tired to speak.

Our activist are only active on internet and and newspapers,no one dare to speak for us in the presence of this cabals.

Now that the election is coming, our politicians are coming up with different tactics, but not too different from the tactics they used in the previous past to enslave us for another four years.

Are we not tired of this tactics? Why are we falling for this trick every four years?

I'm not here to speak against any politician or any political party but against our political system, which is faulty beyond repairs.

Our political system is faulty,it is a means of putting power and control into the hand of few minorities over the majorities.

Why are our politician becoming untouchable immediately they come into power?

Why do we join hand to commit such power into their hands and they use such power to oppress us?

They are meant to serve us,but we end up serving them.

Why is it not possible for new blood to come into power

We have been serving the same set of people prior to independent and after independent

Do we need any prophet or fortune teller to tell us that things are not working for us politically.

Those in power keep embezzling our resource, since their is no one to fight for us.

Are you not tired of hearing our politician spending billions of dollars on needless project, why leaving the needful ones unattended to.

People are dying like chicken in Nigeria and our governments are not seeing it.

People are suffering and nobody is noticing.
I weep for this country, for our future is at stake if things should continue like this

The question is,can Nigeria be better again? Yes,it can.

But not until we restructure our political system

Not until we value life of our people

Not until we love ourselves

Not until masses have says in the affairs of government.

Not until we practice the true democracy.

Not until we abandon ethnicity

Not until we bridge the gap of diversity

Not until we come together to pursue a common goal

I know that most countries in the world are suffering one thing or the other from the hand of their politicians too,so you can make it known with your comment under this post. Let learn from you....

How do we come out of this mess we find ourselves? I leave the rest in your hand...

Since time past, Nigeria politics has been like the case of a knife thrown up that will always land with the flat side. No upgrade, no newness. Our so called leaders are not leading but are ruling simply because they have no leadership traits. But those have the traits and are really politically inclined don't want to go into it because they see it as a dirty game.

Unless, there's a rise of genuine leaders that can come together as one and standout to serve our father land. I see such happening soon. Prayer will also go a long way, we shouldn't be tired of praying. God bless Nigeria #united we stand#. I love Nigeria

Thanks for your contribution. The power of real change lies in the hand of the youth, but are we ready to ignite the so call change? Are we not contended with the little those leaders are giving us?

Bro, in my area still, people are feeling reluctant to even go get their PVC.
Come 2019 people might still sell their votes to this same sect. Representation in government is almost a myth.
But we'll keep praying and hoping for the best.
I stand for one Nigeria.

Thanks for your contribution, the biggest problem we are having are those selling their votes, they get us into this mess. We need to keep enlighten our people, the token we get for selling our birthright can't last us a year not to talk of our life time. If we don't say no now,i pray the coming generation will not curse us.

We must not give up on Nigeria, she is ours as a whole and therefore we must fight for her to get better. Thank you for this post

Thanks for your contribution,i hope this get to many youths out there,we need a better Nigeria.
