Dear Buhari, we've already known: you are with the old, not the youths. However, we the youths are not as you thought. An average youth in this country works 18 hours/day (no weekend rest).
We are innovative and energetic. If not that we are strong, we'd have been consumed by frustration here. But we are strong. We still survive despite the fact that you and your archaic men made the country miserable place to live. We still live, survive, prosper despite the move to keep us in the cliché of those living hand to mouth, being voiceless and powerless.
Thank God those addressed and told by Buhari about the "laziness" of Nigerian youths would not listen to his jibes and faux pas. Nigerians in diaspora are more respected than they are at home. Here, Nigerian youths work tirelessly to earn a living
Mr Buhari, if you say this at world stage, what kind of image are you painting? Honestly, we deserve an apology.
Yours Sincerely
Magnifico
Men like Buhari are why I stopped watching or reading the news!
.....🚶
If we close our eyes and let every bad people to pass, good ones will pass and eyes will remain closed.
Regardless of who is in power, you need news to stay informed.
It is very sad my brother. Very sad. Nigerians are one of the most hardworking people on earth. If you go to any country and you don't find a Nigerian there, please that country doesn't exist.
We need a new system of voting. Decentralized to be precised on a blockchain. Where we can truly select who we want to be our leader, not just an illetrate, who knows nothing about Nigeria.
Thank you sir @autofreak for this post.
This statement from Mr. President came to me as a surprise. Even the uneducated Nigerians are not lazy.
Of course. We are not.
Blame the guy who wrote his speech :D Sometimes the advisers are the ones who are not doing their research. Or he said that just to stir up something?
I am not sure it was in his speech, i think Baba is getting old :)
It still beats me what the president said that made him make that statement
It was a conversation about oil revenue.
