Yet, A question has been on my mind lately. A dozen of steemians have been working hard to add value to this community and they are making their money as well as being recognised for their value.
I have been working hard to add value but it seems the dollars and recognition are not adding up
What do i do????

Hello, I don't know what your expectations are but I think it takes some time to get known and upvoted around here. Good comments help a lot, as @katharsisdrill recommended. Personally, I spent my first couple of weeks just lurking here and watching what is going on. Then I started commenting for about a month, trying to comment on thinks that drew my attention, not random comments all around. Then, post about things you enjoy and like, your thoughts & creations. It is a slow process if you don't want to spend money directly for fast results. At least, that's how I understand it, I might be missing something -- so, don't take this as advice, it's just my personal opinion & experience! Anyway, good luck!
I agree with you. I am also newbie and still struggling, but i have work with bubblews before, almost the same flatform as steemit. And i agree interactiom with other members is really the key to be able to succeed here

Hard work is not always rewarded - I think commenting - good comments that show you read the post - is a good way to begin connecting to other users. I am here because you commented on my post about Wagner and had obviously heard the music... That's my best advice.
