Other Niche Communities Curation Report #759

OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 759th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

September Garden Journal - How are the Plants doing with an Unfaithful Gardener like me ?

The first plant you can see is my purslane which has grown beautifully. I ate it last night in pasta and it was delicious! It's really this "oyas" (clay watering jar) system that got it through the summer without drying out! If you look at the previous article, you can see that it is growing and apparently producing seeds which are expelled when the capsule opens. You can see this more closely in the second picture.

Gardening in small space is possible

Gardening has been always a part of our lives. We always wanted to have a garden, to plant and to care some plants until they grow and can be eaten.

Big space is what we really need so we could have a wide garden. But having a small space is still good if you really wanted to have one. If you like to have a garden, you can always find ways to have it.

Initiative: The codes of my love: Complicity and reciprocity as a perfect formula [Eng- Esp].

Love is a unique feeling that fills us with emotion and makes us feel alive, when we talk about love codes, we could say; it is that something that fills us, making us feel special at all times. There are so many details that can please us as individuals and cause a reaction in us of deep euphoria and joy.

I Decide, I Design, I Know Me!

Designing your life is something that takes a lot of effort, time and most of all courage. It takes courage to decide on your own path and walk it alone. It takes determination to not bend to the doctrines laid out for us but to hold firmly to our principles even when we earn nasty labels for them.

[Esp / Eng] Virtual reunion with my friends from high school

It is the first time that I write in this community and I do it with the occasion to comment on an excellent virtual reunion with my high school friends; I have commented on several occasions that I grew up in the countryside, I lived there for 22 years, I studied high school in a small town called Rio Tocuyo, I graduated in 1998, after graduating, most of my classmates went to the state capital and other states, to study and seek new job opportunities, others stayed there for some time, in my case I stayed in my land for 5 years then I came to Carora where I live until today.

Wednesday Walk - Visiting a Hindu-Balinese garden

Hi, my dear friends and Hive family. Today I want to share my experience last Wednesday with my big sister. At that time my sister asked me to accompany her on a walk out of the house. However, she didn't know where she was going. It seems that she is constantly bored at home with his 3-year-old daughter. I also took them on my motorbike to a park which is located quite far from home. The place to visit is T-Garden. A Hindu-Balinese theme park in my city today.

Enjoying a day in the field - Disfrutando de un día de campo

While every weekend we make plans to go for a walk with our daughters, we usually visit the mountains or the beach looking for a quiet place to disconnect from the craziness of the city and connect in a better way as a family.

Magnificent 3D jump ropes [ENG-ESP]

For the last 3 years I have had a 3D printing business and lately I have been developing products for gyms, until I came up with the idea of making jump ropes that are not as expensive as the ones in the market but that have a great quality and life time. I have another post where I explain more technically the product development and design, but today I want to focus on the assembly of the ropes.

[ESP-ENG] Papa chorreada colombiana

Colombians definitely love the potato**, it is by far the food that can not miss in their lunches and dinners, many (or those who can) usually have dinner the same as at lunch, and there is always the potato in any presentation, either salted (small boiled potato with peel and salt on top), with mayonnaise (boiled in squares with mayonnaise), fried or dripping.
