OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 697th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Living in Indonesia is like two swords that can pierce each other. There are many annoying things and also many fun things when living and being an Indonesian. The most annoying part is seeing how severe corruption is in this country, almost all lines or government positions in Indonesia have been involved in corruption. The three state institutions, the judiciary, the executive and the legislature, have also made systemic cases that led to mega-corruption cases that were detrimental to the state. Imagine, in 2011 alone, it was recorded that the state had suffered a loss of around 62.9 trillion Rupiah due to corruption cases. Imagine if the corrupted funds were used for the public interest?

I really wanted to try to draw snow. It's probably because it's so hot here. Therefore, I was very happy with the master class on drawing winter birds on spruce.

Many countries make bread as a staple food, especially for breakfast in the morning. Because the shape is very simple and packaged in such a way, it is very easy to carry everywhere and is hygienic so this food is widely sold and is a favorite of all circles. The various types also make many people consume it, bread can be used as sweet food and even savory.

I am not sure what is should think about Three Tunes Tuesday. Part of me thinks it´s a lazy format, and if that means that I am stepping on some toes so be it. Or maybe 🤔 I am just a music snob and this TTT the perfect way for people to start blogging about music and sharing amazing songs. I guess I will just have to try it.

This is some of the atmosphere of this little forest path that runs along the hillside. It's well treed and otherwise, with this heat, it would be much harder to get out of the cool shade of the house!

One of the questions we are asked this time in the Weekend Engagement could definitely be a challenge for one or the other. At least it is for me. I'm not the "elevator bitch" type who can tell you in a nutshell what it is that I actually can do very well. But I also have a hard time saying it within the 500 words required.

No matter how much we have, the important thing is the intention of wanting to help. There are people who have everything but greed does not let them, it stops them, and those at the level of the heart and soul have all the lacks. In spite of not having riches, my heart and soul feel grateful to life.

So, this weekend we were all partied out! However, there was still a special occasion to celebrate! This Saturday 6 August was the 17th anniversary of the day my wife Julia and I met and fell in love. It’s quite strange to think we’ve been dating or married for nearly half our lives now! She was 19, and I had just turned 20, on that fateful day we met at a mutual friend’s party back in 2005!

Greetings again to all Hivers who collect and are passionate about the succulents in this group. As usual, I bring you a new update of hybrids obtained by me in my personal collection of succulents. If this is the first time you read my articles, let me tell you that I specialize in the cultivation and genetic improvement of succulent plants belonging to the Stapeliinae subtribe of the Apocynaceae family. These plants are colloquially known as carrion flowers or star plants because of the smell and shape that most flowers give off. One of my main objectives in hybridization is to obtain attractive coloration patterns in flowers and, in addition, to achieve plants with flowers that are not very odorous for Humans. Attractive flowers without a perceptible rotting odor would be the best result so that they can be cultivated by a larger public.

Ten days ago I took some pictures of our garden, and three days ago I took more. I was having issues with my computer, so am just now getting around to writing up the actual post.

It has been hot and dry, as it usually is this time of year where I live. We've had some 100 degree readings, and plenty of 90s. If I need to do any weeding, pruning, or harvesting, I prefer to head out by 7:00 a.m. and be back indoors by 9:00 a.m. Heat disagrees with me.
