OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 332nd compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Hello dear community. Today I want to show you how I have in my garden medicinal plants that help me to alleviate health problems. Little by little we have been planting this type of plants, some to use them in the kitchen as condiments or spices and others for when I have some health problems, I use them in infusion or tea and they help me a lot. And as I have told you before I prefer to use the natural first to alleviate health problems, rather than taking a lot of pills or treatments from pharmacies. So in my garden I can say that I have "my natural pharmacy", how about that?

I woke up at 4:30 o'clock in the morning because my landlady told me to come early in Ginatilan if I wanted to try their delicacies. It is only available every tuesday in the farmer's market. We called it here "Tabu" where farmers will gather together and display their fresh produce.

I arrived in Ginatilan at around 5:30 o'clock in the morning. As I arrived, vendors were busy displaying their products. I asked someone where could I buy their delicacies but someone told me I should wait for an hour because the seller will arrive by 7:00. I arrived too early.

I remember getting lost in this square when I was just moved to Bilbao, well, actually I didn't get lost in this square, I was already lost from before. I walked and walked looking for some metro station and I arrived here, there were two entrances to the same station, but I didn't know it, one of them is that transparent shell that you can see a little bit on the left side of this cover photo. For people who know the city it may seem silly to get lost like this, now that I have been walking these streets for almost two and a half years I know that although this traffic circle square connects many streets, it is quite obvious that one of them is a wide main avenue that can take you to different points of the city, including other metro stations. But the first few days I just stared in awe at the big buildings, the beautiful flowered squares, everything gave me a very imposing impression, I felt tiny, like the main character of this cartoon from my childhood called "Sheep in the big city".

It's turning out to be a great weekend. The sun is up, a gentle breeze coming and going, and a little peace and quiet out back with my dog. It's a nice time to meditate and be able to raise awareness, which doesn't have to be a huge interstellar spiritual experience or a world-changing awakening a la the Matrix films. It can also be alone time. Away from the chaos of life. Observing the surroundings and observing the self.

I deliberated a good bit over where to post this, but in the end I had to go with my gut and let this be the sole post in “indoorGardens.” I know I’m not the only Hivean with an indoor garden, and so I believe whole-heartedly we just gotta kick this thing off…so here we go, let’s get started!

I know this is strictly opine, but I do believe that there aren’t a lot of easier ways to improve your quality of life than filling your home with plants…mindfulness and spiritual growth notwithstanding, studies quoted by Ellen J. Langer indicate that caring for plants can keep our minds sharp and functioning well beyond expectancy. Plus they add beauty to our homes while improving the air quality.

Angela was expecting her first baby, she knew it was going to be a girl. She was very nervous, because prior to this pregnancy she had had a terrible loss and the experience had been very traumatizing for her and her family. This time, everything had been different, her mother, a believer in good spirits, angels and above all in God, was sure that this would be the case.

To start it off, Philippines is particularly vulnerable to tropical cyclones which produce heavy rains and flooding across large areas on a yearly basis. In November 2020, Philippines was struck by typhoon Ulysses. One of the places that was greatly affected was Isabela, a land area located in Cagayan Valley (it's also where I'm currently residing).

If people really had faith, they would not leave their holy places in such a state. If people had faith, they would make sure it didn't happen. Despite poverty and lack of support. If they had faith, they would do anything to protect it, they would defend it by all means. They would make an effort...

Don't you think that words like religion and religious are sometimes used only for deception, for a screen? When you say that certain person is religious and goes to church, it automatically exonerates him of everything....

Hola amigos, vamos a ver esta publicación el dibujo que hice para el día nueve (09) del INKTOBER 2021, donde el tema era la palabra PRESSURE, que al español traduce la palabra PRESIÓN.

Para este tema la idea que se me ocurrió fue bastante complicada, tenía que lograr un ambiente bajo el agua y tratar de lograr perspectiva en el dibujo. Veamos un poco de como fue el proceso creativo.

Once Upon a Time.... no I'm lying hahaha. But if the story goes like this... At the beginning of November, after several months of waiting and anxiousness, I observed that the first flower buds began to appear on these plants, which were huge and splendid as you can see in the picture at the top.
