For this week number 295, with the theme of "Different World," it is a pleasure to share with you a simple interpretation of the song Imagine by John Lennon. This song is one of those pieces that has been etched into humanity's musical history, a song that advocates for freedom, equality, and human rights—in short, a different world. What this song most passionately calls for is world peace, an end to armed conflicts, and, above all, a planet free from hopelessness. Today more than ever, it is a theme that resonates in every corner of the world due to the current situation of misunderstanding between countries and social sectors, which even today still fail to resolve their differences, though there is always hope that one day they may be resolved through peaceful means.

Hello dear friends, I hope you are all doing well. It's already December, so the Christmas creations are sure to continue. I haven't yet felt inspired to make anything with a Christmas theme, but I hope to soon. However, yesterday and today I've been working with wood, making a very small piece that I want to share with you. I've made a keychain whose central figure is the famous shoe of Michael Jordan, the greatest basketball player of all time. It's the Air Jordan 1, the model that started a new era in the NBA and in sports in general. Considered a classic today, available in every color, it wasn't always like that. Jordan had to pay a fine to play in them because the shoes didn't meet the official colors. The fine was covered by Nike, who believed in Jordan and what he represented, and they were right. Well, I made this piece from a piece of wood, doing a very small but detailed carving, and then I painted it the classic color. Next, I will briefly describe the process; I hope you enjoy it.

I hope you are all well. Today I want to talk to you about one of my favourite horror films, which I saw many years ago and watch again from time to time. It should be noted that it is more of a horror comedy and social satire that is very funny in a "certain sense." Although there are no jokes as such, the way everything unfolds makes you laugh, even with all the blood, because yes, it is a very bloody film. This film is called: Wedding Nightmare.

The Christmas carol "Campana sobre Campana" (Bell over Bell) is one of the most popular and traditional Christmas melodies in the Spanish-speaking world. Unlike many other carols that come from Nordic or Anglo-Saxon traditions, this song has its roots in the folklore of the Andalusia region in southern Spain, although the exact identity of its author is generally unknown, as it has been passed down orally for generations. The song is very descriptive and focuses on the joy and announcement of the birth of Jesus, using the image of the ringing of church bells and the figure of the shepherd running to Bethlehem. The lyrics, with their refrain "Campana sobre campana, y sobre campana una, asomate a esa ventana, verás al Niño en la cuna" (Bell over bell, and over bell another, look out that window, you'll see the Child in the cradle), have a simplicity that makes them ideal for children's choirs and celebrations. Its melody is catchy and its rhythm is lively and festive, making it an essential and nostalgic element of Christmas celebrations in Spain and much of Latin America.

Sorry for the really big delay, life just happens. My last post was 5 months ago, and I was training hard for the marathon and I felt very confident at that moment, but life takes unexpected turns.

That night was the last day of the year. On the streets, the lights of cars reflected in the eyes of starving dogs, sheltering in makeshift hideouts made of cardboard to keep out the cold. On the sidewalks, people wore wool and leather coats, walking quickly, their heels clicking on the concrete, their hands laden with bags from stores and supermarkets. They walked quickly, intent on getting home early.
