OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1896th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

The Christmas decoration was done late this year in my community, almost on the eve. And it was just done for the first time last year, so we did not expect that this year they were going to repeat it, but they did here the small sample of the decoration.

The good thing is that they didn't repeat the same decoration, they did it differently and I like that. They took the trouble to place the tree in another part and put other lights on it, this time I observed the base where they make the connections and it is surprising how many lights they put together.

One of my self-given birthday gifts was a solo date to a place I love in Lima: Barranco. Why alone on my birthday? 🎂 Basically, because it had been a very long time since I allowed myself to do things alone and just for me.

Migratory adaptation, fears, and many other situations pushed me to avoid being alone. I started depending on my friends' schedules to visit places like a park, a plaza, or even to go shopping. I live far from the most touristic or popular spots in Lima. Beyond the financial effort, it takes a lot of mental energy to endure the traffic 😅 just to go out for a stroll. For this reason, many people (like my friends) who work on-site all day are often too exhausted to plan outings involving such long commutes.

Hive open mic week #246, season's greetings friends...I trust well all are having a great time this festive period, well I am 😉. For this week's theme "Christmas", I'd be covering a record by American Acapella group "Pentatonix" called "That's Christmas to me". This record was released a decade ago (2014) and it's still an amazing record worth listening to, to date.

What does Christmas mean to you? Well for me it's all about love, the reason we celebrate Christmas is because Jesus Christ was born, He is the reason for the season. He was born to fulfil a purpose on earth which was to save mankind from sin and eternal destruction. The song talks about the joys of Christmas, where everyone comes together, family, friends e.t.c. The beautiful designs made during Christmas period, lovely lights, the Christmas tree🎄. It's all about reconnecting, spending time with our loved ones. People travel far and near just to enjoy the festivities with their families. This heartwarming song celebrates the spirit of a traditional holiday. Greetings and happy holidays. Today I want to share with you another health tip, a medication, which has been of great help to me, it is DICLOFENAC. You see I was taking part in an event during November and someone told me I had to bring with me something related to the epoch. I don't have many old things with me. So I decided to make myself a walking cane and walk like a dandy during the event.

Greetings vegan family and friends I know we are still in the celebration mood as 2024 keep counting down. In all, I love that we are in good energy anticipating a good end of this year despite all odds.

And still in the celebration 🎉 mood I made some special vegan delight for today . A delicious plantains lunch with tomatoes 🍅, green pepper, onions in fries and garnish.

Christmas season is times we feel and desire to eat varieties especially those that will leave memories.This very recipe I prepared to share with you is one of the recipes my mother use to like during festivals before she went to rest with the Lord.
