OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1771st compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Hello, people from internet, today I want to participate in this contest. Being a chef I'm pretty excited about the first question and I have quite a lot to say haha. I would like to invite @eugemaradona and @mairene1 to participate.

Today I want to share with you my first experience in an authentic Japanese restaurant, specialized in ramen. A long time ago I had the desire to make this experience, but I could not find an authentic place, so searching the internet I found the Magokoro Ramen restaurant, in the center of the capital of Portugal. So I decided to go and try this place and today I managed to share the experience with you.

It all started for me, with needing to keep a list of the posts that I wanted to write. That has been a really effective way for me to remember the ideas and things that I want to write about. I don't really mind that too much, but am unsure if that's a thing I should be proud of or should be nervous about.

I have expanded the utility of my list making, and have added a few other things to the mix. I've now got lists for the things that I need to buy, things I need to research and other daily activities in life.

I don't know if this is a good thing, but I also think back to when I was a kid and remember that people would write things down all the time and have little notebooks and lists. People go to the grocery store with lists, and I think sadly that it's just a sign of getting older as the people I would see are what I would have considered older, but are just about my age give or take a few years.. damn.

The utility of lists is definitely important and I think part of my aversion to it was pride but that has to go by the wayside when you understand that it's just a fact of life that we need them. It makes us more effective as a person, adult, parent and spouse when we are able to write things down and keep them organized in whatever way works for us. It took me a while to realize that, but I have given into it and actually leaned into it as much as I can.

A Delicious Legume

Today I present a very traditional meal in Venezuelan homes, since lunch never lacks legumes, which are the companion of rice or pasta, this time I bring some lentils prepared my way for lunch, they have the particularity that alone, they are tasty, but just season them and combine them with vegetables and some herbs that enhance its flavor, providing more nutritional value and providing a balanced meal.

I have to admit that a priori I don't consider myself a big dreamer. In other words, I rarely build castles in the air because frankly they would not stand up, they would fall and it would be a way of feeling disappointed.

It had been a long harvesting season and it surely was not as successful as I had expected. Due to endless rain and slugs in the spring it took me a damn long time to put the plants outside so they didn't get the amount of sun over the amount of months that I had wanted.

Regardless, I am still harvesting a good amount of tomatoes and they taste way netter than in the supermarket. They taste more as if they had been harvested right from the Italien country side, that is how sweet they are.

Last Sunday I had the joy of sharing with friends that life is giving us. As is the case of Jesy, I received her call inviting me to the birthday of her husband, Professor Ulises, who is a coach and representative figure of chess in our state of Nueva Esparta. The friendship has been forged thanks to this sport, since my son César practices it in his academy and more than friendship the chess group is a beautiful family.

Among the wonderful communities that make life on this platform, in which I identify myself, such as cooking, because they allow me to publish the recipes that I love, I share with you the last publication that to my surprise, made me deserve the Gastronomic Lion, and I think that its delicious flavor makes our mouths water, it is about one of my favorite desserts.

The auyama as it is known in Venezuela, has other names according to different regions such as pumpkin, squash among others.

This vegetable is privileged because it has different ways to use it in food consumption and according to the tastes of people in different regions.

Widely used in soups, creams, but because of its versatility its use has been extended in sweets, cakes, quesillos and today's presentation as pancakes together with other ingredients for this type of mixture. It can be accompanied or eaten alone, it is pleasant to the palate.

In my case I must say that I like to write, it is something that not only entertains and relaxes me, I like to write not only fantasy stories that I can have but also through advice, points of view, leave a guideline for those who need it and like it, it is something that makes me very happy when they tell me that what I write inspires them or gives them a contribution to their lives, that is why varying what I wrote and I can transmit through my words motivates me a lot and is one of my favorite activities.
