Today's chapter is entitled: Pita bread with zucchini stew.
At first I was going to make just the bread, then I imagined it slathered in a sauce and then the magic happened....

Hello my dear hivers, from this beautiful food loving community, I hope you are enjoying a well deserved weekend break. I was going through my recipe notebook, and I found a very dear cookie recipe for me, which brings back beautiful memories when my son was little and asked me to spoil him with his love cookies, double chocolate; he gave him that name, because he said that chocolate tasted like love.

Hura crepitans, known in english as sandbox tree or possumwood, is known in Venezuela as Javillo or Cachito (little horn). It is a thorny big tree that grows in the river banks of our towns. Ironically, after many years without contemplating such an impressive tree, I have noticed that they are spread all over Caracas.

Today I want to share some delicious sweet potato balls. These little treats are a nutritious option that allows us to satisfy those sweet cravings without going overboard. The sweet boniato, rich in fiber and antioxidants, provides a naturally sweet flavor and a creamy texture that complements perfectly with other ingredients. We add a little cornstarch to achieve a good consistency, a touch of sugar to sweeten and vanilla essence to enhance their flavor. They are also very versatile; you can add whatever you want to them. I chose to include some colored sprinkles to give them a special touch. Making them is a simple and fun process, ideal for a sweet afternoon.

Welcome to my blog again. I am so glad that you are here. I am here again with another healthy recipe: broken wheat porridge. Some days ago I shared the broken wheat vegetable khichdi recipe. This recipe is also made by broken wheat but taste is totally different.

Good afternoon and thank you for taking the time to read this. They call ...Tim, wait no wrong comedy skit. 😆 I'm ChefBgob: a Hive blogger, retired chef due to sightloss, a gamer, and a father. If you read my post about red wine and eggplant, you find I've done a snack dip take. My mother loves eggplant from the Filipeans, so I take the American version of them and treat her.

Blessed be life that takes us out of our comfort zone, sometimes we do not understand circumstances that happen to us in our lives and we think we are the unluckiest.... However, what seems like a bad run of luck can become the best opportunity for resilience and become something great, and Venezuelans are experts in this, because if something defines the vast majority of us is that we are workers, fighters, entrepreneurs but above all resilient for our country's situation, regardless of whether they are in the country or abroad, both circumstances have led us all to have the ability to adapt to change and reinvent ourselves.

Today I want to show through a tutorial, how to prepare a delicious smoothie, nutritious, with many vitamins: guava smoothie with jobo and oatmeal. The guava is a fruit that has a lot of water and few calories, is special to combat and prevent intestinal disorders. The jobo is also a citric fruit, it has a lot of vitamin C and has anti-inflammatory properties. This smoothie together with the oatmeal and milk, make it very nutritious. That is why I recommend taking this shake in the morning for wherever we go we have a lot of encouragement.

He is not the villain in this situation though, as you might imagine. He actually agreed with my decision. I felt eager, excited, and nervous all at once. I had never held a bird in my hand before except for poultry like chicken. It felt so small, and I was scared of hurting it. I tried to avoid holding it too tightly and also not too loosely, so it wouldn’t slip out of my hand. I was such a novice, I had no idea what to do, so I just kept petting its head.

For today I bring you a beautiful and tragic song of heartbreak that I wrote in my early college days when I was just learning major and minor chords on the guitar. “Tu Funeral” is the 3rd song I wrote out of my entire musical repertoire and it is a pleasure to bring it to you for the first time since it has never been played in public. Its lyrics are very beautiful and evoke memories of something that had to happen imminently; it is a kind of ritual to close a difficult chapter of life and give way to the arrival of mental balance.
