OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1270th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Now, don't get me wrong--of course I recognize the immeasurable benefits that technology has provided us up to this point in time... But, in western society particularly, I feel that it has overstayed its welcome. Too many times I witness people refuse to live in the moment, instead choosing to bury their noses in their phones. In fact, I can count on my hands the number of times I have almost seen people walk straight into poles due to the distraction! 😩 The irony of a population of smartphones, growing dumber and dumber by the day. A nation of zombified morons! 😵

So, it's been raining everywhere here in the Philippines? I didn't know, I had no idea because the weather here at our Place is too Sunny. In fact, Mr. Sunny seems to always be mad in Bansudeño's because of how scorching hot the weather is. I missed the rain, the cold breeze, and everything about rain. I think it rained the other night, but it was like just a wee wee of a one-year-old kid, it was gone in a second. I am not wishing for too much rain, maybe just a little rain, in just enough to beat the heat.

Today is Wednesday again and this week I took a walk along one of the main streets of the aforementioned district or Vedado in the capital of Cuba.

It was approximately 10.30 a.m. my father suddenly told me and my little brother to go with him for a task on our land. There are many things that are not right in my country, although I am not the best person to talk about it, since my knowledge of politics is basic, although it is not necessary to be an expert to know that things are not going well; especially when you have to buy medicines, food or pay for a service on a daily basis. It is really stressful when you go to buy a product and you have to pay almost double what you paid last week, or when the same product in one place charges you x pesos, and a few blocks away another store charges double; not to mention insecurity, corruption and the big lies that politicians tell to get you to vote for them at election time
