Some say that any news is good news. These days, after the NiceHash break-in and the steal of around 4700 BTC Slovenian media is having a field trip. Their journalists are suddenly expertly writing about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency mining.
What a strange way for Bitcoin community to get media's attention. Eh ...
Daily newspaper Dnevnik has a front side and page two story about NiceHash fiasco.
The main article on the front page:
Page two, a full page with two articles:
Biggest Slovenian daily newspaper Delo has at least four articles, the main story included.
Both newspapers feature Matjaž Škorjanc, an infamous hacker. He sees himself as just a programmer and not as a hacker. Actually, he didn't break-in into anything. He just wrote the programs for others...
Anyways, Matjaž is telling us that NiceHash's new platform will have a military grade security with human factor eliminated. Could this quote mean something? Could it mean that it was a human error or negligence that opened the doors for the steal?

In the meantime ...
... NiceHash site still features the same old announcement. It has been way more than 24 hours after the publishing. I wonder if someday the domain will simply vanish.
It has happened before. Many times, in fact.
That is so typical for the Slovenian media. Making a huge drama. They should write about our Slovenian crypto experts. When you think how small our country is and how many Crypto companies came from Slovenia its unbelievable. Iconomi, Viberate, Bitstamp...I see huge potential for our small country to be a major figure in the Cryptoworld.
Nevertheless this is really bad for NiceHash. They lost credibility.
I wanted to start a series of posts about top-notch Slovenian companies. Now NiceHash has started this series for me. In a bad, bad way.
And you are absolutely correct about Slovenian media, of course. Drama is all they know. If they don't find it, they produce it...
Do that! Cant wait to read that! Its better to start with a sad story and continue with positivity to make a happy end 😜 Yea, but this is so typical for all media 😔. We just have to focus on positive stories like steemit and other great crypto companies 💪
They're dead if you ask me.
:) OK, my objective assessment of your statement is that you are 95% correct :)
Let's hope and believe in these meager 5%.
I am afraid that majority of crypto stuff is about faith and hope :)
I wonder how many their own BTC keep on their own exchange and lost.
