Artist feature: @inhaledelium

For today's NFT Showroom artist feature, we're taking a look at work from Inhale:delium, AKA Davide, who is from Florence, Italy. He's on NFT Showroom where you can find his digital collages, surreal images, and landscapes, but I recommend you also listen to his ambient music under the name Antarktyda.

Speaking of, I'm waiting for the collabs with this artist! Take a look at his bandcamp to check out his compositions. From energetic beats, to calm and futuristic sounds, these would be excellent background tracks for an animated or video NFT. Someone get on this ASAP!

Why did you start creating art? What inspires you?

I grew up between a strong connection with the nature of the incredible landscapes of Tuscany and partying in the electronic underground music scene of the city.
In the 2004 I realized that I wanted to know more and moved to Berlin where I found many motivations and my creativity was positively affected.

We're seeing a common thread amongst all of our features artists -- everyone seems to have travelled or lived in multiple regions!

My art is very influenced by Nature and Sounds.

I try to create things that I see and observe in everyday life, sometimes I try to represent visions and dreams that I have had. Elements from other dimensions, new organic forms of life, dystopic and mysterious combinations and compositions of things.

I think we can see the idea of elements from other dimensions and organic life in this image, oビe, which reminds me of a land from another world.

What does art meant to you?

For me, Art is everything and nothing, nature is the main artist on our planet, everything comes from her, complex fractals, incredibly diverse textures and unique shapes.
I am a person who likes to observe the side of things that generates questions ... I am fond of mysticism.

What type of art do you like to do?

Between analog and digital I take the best of both and experiment in an artistic path that goes from oil paintings, analog collages, photography, ambient music with modular synthesizers and digital art, glitch art, 3d, audio coding everything give me possibilities of expression.

What is your opinion on NFTs related to art?

Our society pushes us to work more and more, this reducing the creative process which forces many artists to give up making art to work fulltime.
NFTs are for me a big opportunity, a revolution in the current art world. NFTs could change everything and I hope that it will soon move to the music market where the artist’s fees are miserable.

I love this statement because it's something all creatives have experience with. The traditional art world is concentrated with so few people at the top selling increasingly expensive work to galleries and investors while so many artists struggle to pay for supplies. NFTs are allowing digital artists to create pieces with technology they already have and sell them to investors at all levels. Especially on a platform like NFT Showroom that has no ETH gas fees, the barriers to entry are so much lower. We'd love to see more artists supporting one another and encouraging friends and families to put their money behind other artists on the platform as well! Let's make it so creativity can flourish!
