I found out last week that the artist who created Pepe in the first place sold his art online as an NFT. You can actually collect them as a commodity like in those rare pepe memes.

That link takes you to an NFT auction of the original comic that spawned the pepe meme years ago. It's historical. I love this. I never could have predicted this development in internet tech. YOU CAN LITERALLY SELL PEPES.🤣
