As a new player myself, I'll start writing some tips and tricks for the new players out there.
Today I'll talk about the mighty Explorer Ship. You need the Explorer Ship to explore the empty galaxy and, hopefully, find a colony. Currently, the chance to find a colony (new player) is 1%.
To be able to build the Explorer Ship, you have to to fulfill the following criteria:
Explorer Ship Skill: Level 20
Shipyard Building: Level 13
Shipyard Skill: Level 13
The most difficult requisite is the Explorer Ship Skill lvl 20. As you can see on the table above, you'll need to spend quite a lot of resources to get it.
Also, you'll need to be able to STORE all that resource to train the Level 20 Explorer Skill. So, you'll need Depots at those levels.
Coal Depot: Level 5 (can store 1200 coal)
Ore Depot: Level 5 (can store 600 coal)
Copper Depot: Level 3 (can store 180 copper)
Uranium Depot: Level 7 (can store 210 uranium)
You can also research the skill without building those depots if you keep purchasing Premium Chests, because you can open the chest and have the resources needed, without needing to have enough storage to produce it by your own!
