NewYorkCoin: A crypto coin that is in daily use

in #newyorkcoin6 years ago (edited)

Oh hi there, this is my first post at Steemit and I would like to start writing about a crypto coin named "NewYorkCoin" and it's community where I've been with for the last 6 months.

So just a quick introduction about what NewYorkCoin is; NYCoin is decentralized and has a proven blockchain - churning out transactions every 30 seconds since 2014 with minimum support. There is no central control over the coin (which is awesome).

In this post, I would like to tell you that this currency is accepted by real merchants all around the world. It's not just like other alt-coins where you can buy yourself a mug with the logo and a shirt. We are talking about real item and services.

I will introduce you to a few handpicked merchants from some nice corners of the world where you can use your coins to get items, services and other cool things (like beer).

First stop is not far away from New York City itself, we are at 842 Second Ave New York where we can find Keats Bar.
For 4USD, you can get into a Anytime Happy Hour, order some food and sing along at the different karaoke events. The karoke is free to join in and start each day at 9pm. The bar has been here for over 30 years, still welcoming new ideas as NewYorkCoin.

So then, after a nice beer at Keats, we'll take the flight towards Beijing, yes China. At this large city, there is a BENQ-dealer called Kaida Long Trade which are one of the three official BENQ-resellers in Beijing. This means that 1/3 of the trades related to BENQ-equipment is done here and of course can be paid with the currency NewYorkCoin. With a less than 30-seconds transfer, a monitor or projector can be paid for.Benq_logo_staged.jpg

It's pretty cool that you can get well known products as BENQ paid for with an alt-coin and even crypto currency.

Let's move over to Russia, yes, mother Russia, the land of Putincoin (?). This is one of the service providers around the world which accept NewYorkCoin, a company providing fire protection services and items related to it as fire extinguisher etcetra.

Touring into Europe, we have a Norwegian online gift store named Trendus.no, this company offers the Norwegian citizens different exclusive gift options as food, gadgets for kitchen and other trendy objects.

If you are not able to travel around the globe, just order yourself an inflatable Flamingo from the international store Lightsheep.com which is shipping gift and gadgets all around the world. Directly home to you. Paid with NewYorkCoins or some of the larger currencies (but hey, of course you want to pay with almost instant transactions!) Visit https://lightsheep.com
Also, the shipping cost is just one dollar!

That's just a few of them, I will be finding some more cool businesses to write about in my later posts. If you can't wait, check out the NewYorkCoin-listings at https://www.nycoinstores.com/
