Any exchange hack is an insider fraud.
Project which will solve this problem will be the thirds BTC :D
This just continues to emphasize the importance of not leaving what you cannot afford to losebon an exchange. Hardware wallets are key for long term holders of assets in this space. Unfortunately, the amount of assets that can be held in them are limited relative to all of the alternatives trading at exchanges.
I believe that this has been done deliberately to bring the whole market even lower. As it was briefly seen last weeks that BTC price did not want to come down more.... it stopped almost somewhere there 7500 $...., But then someone quickly came out solution the hacker attack in the exchange point because they know it's easy to get in there. ( if you do not have more money then make an attack )
But it is what I think. ;)
