NEW YORK: George Harrison's first electric guitar is available to be purchased.
Julien's Auctions says Harrison played the Hoffner Club 40 when The Beatles played around Liverpool, England, as The Quarrymen. Harrison exchanged his acoustic guitar for the electric model with Ray Ennis, who was an individual from The Swinging Blue Jeans.
Harrison gave it to a band rivalry in 1965 and it was won by an individual from a German band who kicked the bucket in 2017. His dowager is putting it available to be purchased.
The closeout house evaluates the guitar will offer for amongst $200,000 and $300,000.
A 1965 Fender Telecaster possessed by The Band's Robbie Robertson played by Harrison, Eric Clapton and Bob Dylan is additionally on the piece and assessed to offer amongst $400,000 and $600,000.
The closeout will occur at New York's Hard Rock Cafe on May 19.
