An affordable and functional price is a formula that Canon retains to fight in the entry-level DSLR segment. Replacing the Canon EOS 1200D that appeared in the year 2014 ago, Canon is now presenting the Canon EOS 1300D with the addition of several new features. Is this DSLR camera still reliable for users who just want to learn photography?

Ideal for holiday companions

Canon EOS 1300D still retain the design of Canon EOS 1200D. The dimensions of the body is not too big, the weight when mounted with the kit lens 18-55mm is also still relatively light and ideal to travel. Overall the body feels quite sturdy and comfortable when held hands.

On the back of the body can be found an LCD screen measuring 3 inches. Display on the screen also looks pretty sharp. This screen is better than the EOS 1200D because the EOS 1300D LCD screen resolution is higher with the number of pixels to reach 920,000 dots.

This LCD screen accompanied by optical viewfinder is quite helpful to take pictures. Shift slightly to the side of the screen, here can be found a number of navigation buttons.

All the buttons are quite large. Placement is also quite good and easy to reach with your fingers. However, because all the buttons are designed almost flat with the body, the buttons are so less comfortable when pressed. The photos are satisfactory

When testing it outdoors with a standard 18-55mm lens, we are quite satisfied with the results of his photograph. Canon EOS 1300D capable of producing sharp images with a tonal color is very good.
