2018 FIFA World Cup, Group Stage: Colombia 1 : 2 Japan 2018-06-19

in #news6 years ago (edited)

Japan got their World Cup campaign off to the perfect start with a 2-1 win over Colombia, who suffered the tournament's first red card after only three minutes.

6': Shinji Kagawa scores a goal.

39': Juan Quintero scores a goal.

73': Yuya Osako scores a goal, assisted by Keisuke Honda.

Bullshit Time:

A big advantage for Japan at the beginning. 10 vs 11 is hard. And Japan knew how to use this advantage and played soccer smartly. They made Colombia got tired at the second half. There is one thing Japan need to work on is their finishing skill. They wasted so many chances in this match because of their shooting skill.

If this game was 11 vs 11, Colombia would have better chance to win this game. It is really unfortunate for Colombia to lost a man at the beginning.

Man of the match: Yuya Osako, 28 years old, 182cm, 71kg, has 4 goals, 2 assists in Bundesliga, and 2 goals, 1 assist in UEFA Europa League for FC Cologne last season.

Game End

Japan surprises James and Colombia!!!

What a player Takashi Inui. Amazing performance of all the team in the ball circulation.

Very nice game shot.I like it

If Japan can't win over Colombia, even after Colombia lost a man - then it's very unfortunate for Japan XD

Good for Japan, and what I see is that the Latin countries are deficient in this world cup, come on Colombia.
