Dakota Access Pipeline Protester decend on the State Capitol

in #news8 years ago

The state Capitol in Bismarck is on lockdown as protesters are rallying on the lawn.

Law enforcement is watching as demonstrators sing "We will not be moved." Others are praying outside the entrance. Then clergy and protesters gathered together to do a lap around the Capitol grounds. About 14 protesters sat in a circle on the hallway floor inside of the judicial wing of the Capitol building and were arrested.

Arrests included some passive resistance such as refusing to stand or walk when being arrested. One person had to be carried because they refused to walk.

"I doubt any of my articles influenced this but this was exactly what I was saying the protester should be doing in an article I posted a few days ago. The focus should be on disrupting the pipeline construction and the state government that is attacking these protesters."

I wish more people were paying attention...the abusive over reach of the federal government has become obnoxious.

People will pay attention if there is information on the issue! I posted three stories today because I see the lack of posts. This is abuse of force, (power), human rights violation and corruption from our government. People need to raise and mobilize in support of those that are holding the ground.
