The Myanmar Junta has hit Aung San Suu Kyi, the democratic leader who was ousted by military generals in February, with fresh corruption charges. Under the charges, the junta government has accused Suu Kyi of accepting illegal payments of gold and more than half a million dollars in cash. The 75-year-old Nobel laureate has been in the custody since the coup. Over 850 civilians have been killed in Myanmar till now.
