Two years ago, the world went wild again on Pokemon thanks to the mobile game Pokemon Go, which placed pocket monsters in the real world with the help of augmented reality. Now Sony wants to repeat this success with ghosts through the game Ghostbusters World.
The game, which is created by the Sony film studio together with the company 4:33 Creative Lab, is to be released on Android and iOS later this year, although the exact release date is not known yet.
We know that the game uses the ARCore 1.0 framework provided by Google, thanks to which it is easier for developers to place virtual objects in the real world. It is essentially the same as Pokemon Go - players will have to find and catch ghosts in their surroundings.
We wonder whether this is also the announcement of the next film parts of Ghostbusters. If so, we hope that they will be better than the last one, in 2016, which everyone, including the creators, would probably prefer to forget.
Next stupid game...
