Four people died in auto-rickshaw collision with pick-up in Dinajpur's Birganj upazila; More than eight people were injured in the accident.

Birganj Police Station SI Mashiur Rahman said that the incident happened at Dinajpur-Panchagarh road in Shalbagan area under Satkhira.The deceased were identified as Habu Roy (60), Ashulay Roy (55), Sushila Roy (50) and Rangila Bala (60).Eight people injured in the accident were admitted to Birganj Upazila Health Complex.The casualties are all autorickshaw passengers. Police said they were coming to Kantaji Rasmella from Dinajpur in Jaldhaka upazila of Nilphamari, police said.Sub-inspector of SI Moshiur told bdnews24.com that four people died on the spot while two pick up auto-rickshaws from Dinajpur-bound pickup from Panchagarh.After the accident, pick-up and auto-rickshaw took police custody, he said, the body was sent to M Abdur Rahim Medical College Hospital morgue in Dinajpur.
