Welcome to the year 2018, where people are arguing over the sexuality of a fictional dragon in an animated movie. Please tell me how critics of diversity for the sake of diversity are pathetic again? Imagine having enough time in your life to get upset about the sexuality of fictional dragons you didn’t even create:
I don’t really care for unnecessary romance’s being used as a plot device in movies straight, gay or otherwise. And in my opinion, there was absolutely zero need for this in this new movie. They really did not need to introduce a romantic partner to bring other Night Furies into the movie. They could have easily made it how they found them on some hidden island somewhere, and make it about how toothless needs to learn their ways again. Having said that these idiots don’t seem to understand that this is the 3rd and last movie in the trilogy, so of course Toothless would need to find a mate if his species is to continue to survive.
