Jakarta - The Government of Aceh gave birth to the Governor Regulation No. 5 of 2018 which changed the place of execution of caning sentence from the mosque yard to the prison. This rule reaps the polemic.

Law and Human Rights Minister Yasonna H Laoly explained that the caning operation in Aceh will not be done in the cell. However, he said, in the prison area.
