UFC 229 - Main event:
With every new day we're getting closer to the fight that is by many considered 'fight of the century' in Mixed Martial Arts. On October 6th, Las Vegas will be hosting a new UFC spectacle at which main event will be fight between Conor McGregor from Ireland and Khabib Nurmagomedov from Russia. For all we know it is going to be a treat for every MMA fan. "The notorious" Conor McGregor is making his comeback in the UFC after almost 2 years and Khabib "The eagle" Nurmagomedov is surely his hardest opponent yet. After 26 fights in MMA of which 9 in the UFC, Khabib knows no loss. His unbeliveable score 26-0-0 is just intimidating and the question is whether the Conor is ready.

Fight of the century?
If you look at Khabib's fights you can instantly tell that he dominated every single opponent with his tactics and amazing grappling skills which are out of this world. On the other hand, Conor hasn't fought for 2 years but we all know what he is capable of. The best boxer in the UFC is now facing by far the best grappler in the MMA. It is a fight of totally different styles and many people would say that there's no favourite here. After Conor lost his belt in featherweight divison due to his lack of appearances, Khabib has stepped up to fight Tony Ferguson for the belt. At our dissapointment, fight never happened and it's the third time that Khabib and Tony hadn't got a chance to fight each other. Nevertheless, Al Iaquinta has shown the bravery to face Khabib but he didn't really stand a chance. The odds were 10/1 in favor of Khabib and after first 2 rounds we could already tell where the fight is going. Khabib has sucessfully demolished Michael Johnson, Edson Barboza, Rafael dos Anjos and Al Iaquinta while Conor's last four fights were against Eddie Alvarez, Jose Aldo and Nate Diaz twice, from who he lost the first time. Conor has a score of 21-3-0 which puts Khabib as a slight favourite for this match despite the fact that Conor has beaten some amazing fighters. For sure it is going to be a great fight so don't miss it!

Tony Ferguson vs. Anthony Pettis
One more reason to stay awake on Saturday night is the fight between Tony "El Cucuy" Ferguson and Anthony "Showtime" Pettis. Tony Ferguson currently has a win streak of ten fights in a row with his career record of 25-3-0. In his last six fights, Tony has been awarded with three fight-of-the-night titles and two performance of the night titles. After his win against Kevin Lee last year he stands as the most challenging fighter to face Khabib and Conor. Just in case you didn't know, Tony will serve as a replacement fighter if Khabib or Conor drop out on Saturday. On the other side of the cage we have Anthony Pettis who is pretty respectable fighter. He has a record of 21-7-0 and his last fight vs. Chiesa earned him a performance of the night title. Tony is a big favorite in this fight but we doubt that Anthony Pettis will be an easy opponent.
