This Week in the Sndbox
Welcome to the 54th State of the Sndbox newsletter!
This past week, we welcomed our 2nd Cohort and Sndbox Stewards as we celebrated the The Crypto Renaissance Exhibition @steempress workshop and showed you the graphics of our amazing Donor wall. We had our first Sndbox Weekly Question and celebrated the inclusion of Steem Park in the hit Amazon TV show, The Americans.
A Warm Welcome to our 2nd Cohort!
The Sndbox incubator houses a diverse network of artists, designers, writers, musicians, and non-profit institutions from across the globe. Out of more than 300 applications, we shortlisted and carefully selected 40 creatives that will propel our ambition in the coming 4 months to help them nurture more collaborative experiences, earn, and become empowered through the Steem blockchain.
The upcoming 4 months that encompasses our second cohort will be filled with articles, activities, and assignments that engage the entire Steem community. We have so much in store for everyone!
Watch our Sndbox introduction video to learn more about the concept and driving force behind this global community here.
Sndbox Stewardship - Stalwarts On Board!
Contiguous to the mission, growth, and impact of Sndbox, we introduce our 'Sndbox Stewards'. These individuals are representative of the global community that is Sndbox and they are notably significant contributors on the Steem Blockchain.
Help us welcome @anomadsoul, @guyfawkes4-20, @jeffbernst, @bree1042, @luvabi, @bitrocker2020, @jassennessaj, @djlethalskillz, @kevinwong, @fingersik, @ericvancewalton, and @natureofbeing!
Visit the article here to get to know more about our Stewards by way of their avatar and interesting blurbs.
Sndbox Asks Steemit
Sndbox asks the Steem Community to participate in this merging of minds to answer a crucial question - "How can we engage our audience differently?"
Submissions include a diverse range from literary, music and art challenges. Exemplary of engaging the community in the Steem platform, we presented a couple of examples such as the blockchain puzzle game by @emrebeyler and collaborative art by @mrblinddraw.
This #feedbackchain challenge culminated on Aug 10, read more about it here. Be on the lookout for winners and further announcements.
The Crypto Renaissance Exhibition - Workshop Recap
The Crypto Renaissance Exhibition is a free and public exhibition at the 1st Floor Gallery of 100 Bogart Street in Brooklyn where New Yorkers and others can learn about the Steem blockchain, the world of crypto, and immediately begin converging their creative work with the Steem ecosystem. The exhibit welcomes visitors from Wednesday - Saturday, 12:00PM - 6:00PM until Aug 15.
Since the start of The Crypto Renaissance Exhibition last July 20, our weekly workshops on everything about the Steem Blockchain has been the highlight of our gallery audience engagement. Last August 4, we showed New Yorkers our @creativecrypto magazine that is powered by the Steem Blockchain. We also shared the integration of the WordPress platform to the Steem blockchain through @steempress.

The Crypto Renaissance Exhibition Donor Wall Finale
The Donors that contributed to our exhibition's Donor Wall adjacent to our @fundition campaign, raised us an amazing $5000 that went into helping fund rental and gallery costs.
Artist @zsolt.vidak once again brings us awesome thumbnails of our donor avatars which were used for our colorful donor wall. Donors can download them for free.

Steem Park Feature on TV Show - The Americans!
Image sourced and courtesy of FX Original Series, The Americans .
The award winning TV series, The Americans, surprised us with a glimpse of Steem Park on its final season!
This 80's spy-themed thriller set during the Reagan Administration, used Steem Park in Herbert Von King Park (Brooklyn) as its backdrop as visibly seen through our screen captures.

Thank you for reading this week’s State of the Sndbox.
I always like to take a look around your site, because I know that I am going to find many pleasant surprises. The size, the new collaborations, the pages and the interviews give faith of all the work they are doing for this platform. The goal is to involve everyone and the best. Spanish-speaking people feel that there is support for @CELF. Welcome to any project that supports and improves the quality of the materials in steem. @sndbox It is a showcase, a springboard to promote. Thank you
No one can put it better than the way you had it put.
As a member of CELF at the bootcamp though I am not a native Spanish speaker
It will blow your mind if I told you, how @voronoi played the role of a Super cool Master mentor. I almost felt I should take some Spanish lessons.
Welcome to all of Sndbox Stewards! Continue your good deeds.
Perhaps one way to engage audiences in a different way is to collaborate with others,
these people generate high quality content and have loyal followers who value them. Greetings
those who are entering this great group are very fortunate
Sure, you are most definitely correct, fortunate is the right word.
Its is like a home away from your native environment........
Congrats those who joined 2nd cohort SNDBOX members :)
