At least one person is dead after a shooting at the University of Utah tonight on Monday October 30th, 2017
Officials are advising that the public “shelter in place” while police search, with the aid of a helicopter and units from across the valley, for a male shooter near Red Butte Canyon on the east side of campus.
Salt Lake City police Sgt. Brandon Shearer told The Salt Lake Tribune that “one person is confirmed deceased.”
