that's just not true. many of us had no insurance and still have no insurance. the only difference is 27 million of us had to pay an average of $600 or face prison so that a few deadbeats could get coverage that we still can't afford.

No you don't face prison for not getting insurance. You do get a penalty which the IRS does not enforce criminally.
