A 2-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain not only brought Real Madrid through to the Champions League quarter-finals but also earned extra money.
Real Madrid won the second leg of the Champions League last 16 at the Parc des Princes Stadium, Paris, France on Wednesday (7/3/2018).
They qualified for the quarterfinals with a 5-2 aggregate win. Previously, they won 3-1 in the first leg at Santiago Bernabeu.
Zinedine Zidane's squad also received money worth 6.5 million euros alias Rp 111 billion from the Champions League organizers for their escape.
Champions League 2017-2018 season provides a total prize of up to 31.7 million euros. The value is equivalent to Rp 542 billion
