The beta test of Fallout 76 will first be made available to Xbox One owners, after which users of other platforms will have access to the test version of the Bethesda game.
In a faq Bethesda gave a little more details about the B.E.T.A., as the publisher calls the test version. Only gamers who place a preorder for the game are allowed to participate in the beta. They then receive a code that they can redeem, after which they receive an e-mail as soon as the test period starts.
The beta comes to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, but Bethesda stressed that the Xbox One is the first to access the test, followed by the other platforms. When the beta period starts and how much time there is between the start for Xbox One and the start for the other systems, the publisher does not yet announce.
