Trump claims bragging rights on North Korea, but Kim also acting from position of strength

Close to North Korea's declaration that it was suspending atomic and rocket tests and shutting a test site, President Trump broadcasted a triumph of sorts.

"Huge advance!" he tweeted, anxious to luxuriate in the gleam of credit for having affected a critical inversion by a customarily obstinate adversary. "Anticipate our Summit," a conceivably noteworthy first-time meeting between a sitting U.S. president and a North Korean pioneer.

However, Kim Jong Un was likewise lolling in what he sees as his new and braced position of quality.
