The Public Transport Authority or Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai, introduced the design of Hyperloop at the "United Arab Emirates Innovation Month" event.

Global Transportation Company, Virgin, as Hyperloop producer has poured billions of pounds to work with Dubai RTA.

"The United Arab Emirates and RTA are very supportive since the start of Hyperloop technology, so it is very exciting to showcase this Dubai Hyperloop. Our focus this year is to continue the collaboration with RTA for the next phase," said Virgin Hyperloop One CEO Rob Lloyd told the Daily Mail website, Sunday, February 25, 2018.

At this United Arab Emirates Innovation Month, Hyperloop interior is decorated by leather seats and HD screens. Even so, this transportation is only able to accommodate 10 passengers. Rob hopes Hyperloop can carry 10 thousand passengers per hour in both directions in the future.

Meanwhile, Director General of Dubai Public Transport Authority, Mattar Al Tayer said hyperloop technology will have an impact on urban planning and the availability of parking spaces.

He sees that the situation will change with the mobility of people from several cities. "Hyperloop will connect the airport, port, to how to deliver goods," he said.

Al Tayer has a 25 percent dream of the entire drive already driveless in 2030. This dream is expected to materialize faster because Hyperloop began operating in Dubai in 2020.

Hyperloop has a speed of 1200 km per hour. That is, the distance of 140 km is usually taken within 90 minutes using the car is now only 12 minutes.

This speed can be done by reducing the air pressure present in the tube. Going forward, Hyperloop Station will be called Portal.

All departure gates are immediately visible upon entering the portal, and the numbering system at all the gateways facilitates the passengers.

According to Rob, there will be small pod-pod for passengers to ride according to the place of departure and arrival. Later, the same direction will depart simultaneously to a certain extent newly split up again.

However, the decline in passengers does not need to be on the portal, because Hyperloop can walk, raise and lower passengers on ordinary streets.
