It appears, at least on this issue, that the only propaganda going on is by you. It must be a slow news day when someone feels compelled to condemn officials for immediately stepping forth about a attack on a child. Granted they didn't know at that moment the child was lying but if she hadn't been there was a sincere potential that at that moment there was someone out there willing to attack a child, calling immediate attention to that was warranted because children are some of the most vulnerable members of our society. Doing anything to ward off or discourage another attack was crucial and I applaud them for that. The attack didn't garner as much attention on my google search as did the fact the attack was a hoax. Therefore there was far greater coverage of the hoax then the attack, now if the main stream media or government officials were complicit to spread propaganda they would have buried the story of the hoax to serve their "supposed" agenda. When you stand there and say things like "There's nothing irrational about rejecting a religion and culture that is at odds with our western christian standards" to which to a certain extent I agree with you when it comes to radical Islamic beliefs, it shows a total disregard and bias on your part to paint all Muslims with a broad brush. For what you just did there leaves you no less guilty then the charges you levied against the government of insulting the Muslims by using them as propaganda. Your statement that the government broke its own laws by 1. "doing anything intended to cause some other person to be suspect of having committed an offense that the other person has not or to divert suspension away from himself" and 2 "reporting an offense has been committed when it has not been committed" also leaves you just as guilty as the claims you made against the government. You stood there and accused someone (just like the girl accused someone) (and the government said someone) of having caused a crime to be committed by breaking up with someone, by falsely accusing that someone of being gay and that personal dispute among gay men lead to a devastating bombing. For it would surely seem to me that any individual who had a partner that they knew would reek harm upon the Muslim community in anger over a break up and keep it to himself would be complicit. Despite your allegations, in article after article that I read on the bombing moments ago it has been firmly established that he was a right wing extremist by the postings on his social media accounts and the organizations that he belonged to, that doesn't mean he will be found guilty of being a right wing terrorist just that it points in that direction, the truth will be established in a court of law. For even though people often don't want to comes to terms with it but terrorist can come in all sorts of colors.

Unless they knew the girl's story was a hoax from the beginning, I'm not going to call this fake news. Both the news and government(i guess it's one and the same up there in maple leaf land) used this report to virtue signal and continue manipulate the public mindset.

After virtually every MSM outlet pushed CIA/Govt propaganda to continue perpetual war in places like Iraq with no verification/investigation process on things like Saddam's purchasing of yellowcake and Colin Powell's testimony would anything surprise us? Using only official government/deep state sources for the vast majority of their reporting being called "journalism" is disgusting. Reporting done by small outlets, sometimes a single person are doing so much better reporting than anything the MSM puts out. Places like therealnews, moon of alabama, antiwar.com, counterpunch, truthout, globalresearch.ca, project censored, pr watch, wsws, etc. are doing independent invstigative quality reporting with small budgets free of corporate/billionaire funding. After all the leaks showing places like the Washington Post and the NYT have hired writers at the request of the CIA and send articles to them for approval before publishing why anyone considers their reporting accurate is beyond me. I'm not suggesting to just ignore their stories because some subjects require a large well funded organization to cover but anything from them must be considered biased and not taken at face value. There is an obvious agenda pushing U.S. elite interests. Just like when I read RT, I know there is an agenda pushing Russian interests they still publish valuable information about U.S. actions. People understand that no problem but refuse to apply the same standards to U.S. MSM. Why would a corporation publish material damaging to its bottom line? If I say Coca-Cola is trying to maximize profits and their advertising only shows them in a good light it will be easily understood. When I say the same about Amazon/Bezos Washington Post people don't want to accept the reality of the situation. Manufacturing Consent the book or documentary should be mandatory reading/viewing in high school.

its always about propaganda with the governments especialy when they have an agenda.
It's funny because unlike Europe, Canada has some of the most extreme vetting in the Western world and they can afford to be more selective in who they allow, as they haven't opened the doors so widely. An integrated society is ultimately a happier society, if you have persons who are marginalized and feel as if they have no chance to integrate completely then you have the chicken and egg problem faced in other nations. For example Sweden is seeing an issue where their immigrants feel like there's no reason to integrate, and Swedish employment figures for how many immigrants they actually hire is kind of... interesting.
Anyone driving a wedge between groups can profit from the division, because if you turn voters against immigrants or outgroups and claim they are the main beneficiaries of social safety nets then big business and certain politicians can gain power by cutting those nets, even if the majority of those served are actually from the majority population.
I was suspecting this on some level, but didn't realize the depth of the hoax and propaganda. Disgusting!

When this story came out, it didn’t take a genius to see it didn’t add up.
Hopefully, some of those politicians will have the courage to denounce false hate crimes, but I’m not too optimistic.

What I find particularly disturbing in this is how not only the girl but her little brother collaborated in telling the lie. This seems to be too well thought out and too well executed to be the idea of these two kids alone. Not so mention the poor, sobbing mother saying "we are so proud to be Canadian" etc... The potential for propagandizing the 'islamophobia' narrative being as obvious as it is here, this just smells and it definitely begs further investigation...
