The timing of it is perfect. The media was very quick to make sure everyone watching was aware that Sayoc was a Trump supporter. Given the level of deceit still running in the public sphere, you'd be naive not to consider that this was a false flag non-hit to garner sympathy for those poor democrat leaders.
