Now if you take Bernays ideas and and add decades of fluoridation and social engineering to the equation, it is clear what is happening.

I find the best thing to do is not watch or listen to any of the news. I realize by doing that you might think I am anti-pressfortruth, lol, but that is not the case. I enjoy your work.
Monopolizing anything is not good, for anything or anyone. It lowers the quality and effort the people with the monopoly have to put forth for their customers. Controlling the media is a whole other beast.
Brainwashing has been around for a long time. Won't get into the religious implications there...but all I will say is that people, humans, are very easily influenced. The masses. It is sad, but true.
How do you combat that? Is it even possible? You essentially cannot stop someone with a lot of money and power. They will have their agenda laid out on a silver platter for them, waiting for a nod of the head in order for the servant to serve it up to "the people".

We are tricked and lied to at every angle. Most people have no clue. It is much easier to "go with the flow".
Even if we don't want to "go with the flow", there are so few that are able to think out of the box.
Those who can are often given warning labels, and treated as dangerous subjects.
Thinking is too difficult for the masses, most are willing to outsource their mind without considering the consequences.
Pretty much sums it up. People just tend to go about their business as usual, systems has and probably will always perform that way.
I really hope that this decentralized internet ( DTUBE and STEEMIT especially) catches on. The only way to fight this massive brainwashing from these companies.

Stay away from ALL mainstream media of all types.Do research on topics that you have an authentic need to know about. But be wary of all resources. Bias can come disguised in many forms.
I believe researching for yourself is a far better way to finding the truth of a matter ... being told what to believe just reeks of propaganda and agenda ..I stopped watching television 5 years ago and feel i have learned so much more from browsing the internet and alternative news sources... yes there is a ton of fake news and personal views and just downright bs.. but that is the challenge and getting two sides of a story is a better way to discern what is true or what may usually be just a work of fiction.. .. thank you Steemit and Dtube for making a difference and thanks pressfortruth for your time and effort :)

Dear god!
It matters not to me whether it is the 'The Sinclair Broadcasting Group' 'The BBC Broadcasting Group' or which ever MAINSTREAM broadcasting channel and or group, they ALL push 'their' news topics depending their given agenda.
I do not trust ANY mainstream broadcasting group, regardless of their country of origin... since each have their own narrative which they push for the benefit of their shareholders and or whoever is sponsoring or financially backing them!
In short, we live in a truly corrupt world where money governs everything, and as such it is up to us as individuals to investigate each claim and story put out. 9-11 is the milestone for which the masses began to wake up to the reality of the extent which Governments will go to to control our thoughts and opinions!

I won’t smash my TV since it would stop me from watching you , but I did cut my TV programming dramatically in the last eighteen years . There just isn’t anything on . The mainstream media is fake enough and then the stupid line up of programming is just JUNK . Their movies are crap , their gaming is crap 💩 , and they really don’t have anything I want . If I want to see a movie or a documentary I get Netflix , or HULU with no contract I cancel the account when I’m done and its only $7.99 a month if I want to keep it . I mainly keep it around during the holidays so when the grandchildren come over that they have something to watch .
